DIRECT MARKETING ASSOCIATION (UK)
The Direct Marketing Association (UK) is the trade organisation for companies in direct marketing in the UK. Summit Services is a member of the DMA. Unlike some UK trade associations, all potential members are vetted to make sure they are honest, efficient and experienced. Their financial credentials are also checked to confirm that they are of good standing. Summit Services supports the DMA and its stance on maintaining high standards in the UK Direct Marketing Industry.
ROYAL MAIL MAILING HOUSE SCHEME

The Royal Mail Mailing House Scheme has been established to replace the QMP accreditation. Summit Services are one of the first mailing and fulfilment houses to be accredited as a Bronze member. Accreditation is based on meeting strict quality control and will be monitored by Royal Mail. All initial accreditations to the scheme are as Bronze members and as the scheme becomes more established there will be further steps to Silver and Gold status.
MPS LICENCE
The UK Mailing Preference Service (MPS) is a non-profit making body, set up in 1983. Through the MPS, members of the public can request that their name and address details be removed from mailing lists in general circulation (or indeed are added to those mailing lists). Summit Services holds an MPS licence to "clean" mailing lists against the national MPS data file (a legal requirement where external data sources are used).
QUALITY ASSURANCE CERTIFICATION

Summit Services holds quality assurance certification for the international standard 9001. The company is externally audited by accredited ISO examiners to confirm that quality assurance procedures are being maintained. This gives clients peace of mind that their work is in the hands of a competent, experienced and efficient supplier.
DATA PROTECTION ACT
Summit Services is registered as a data bureau under the Data Protection Act 1998, registration number PZ4790552.
Clients are therefore assured that their data is being processed in a fair and legal manner.
